    Topical cannabis for Canadian patients

A topical cannabis cream launched by MedRelief in Canada in early October, which “could offer significant relief to [Canadian] patients suffering from pain and itch in a number of inflammatory dermatoses,” said Jaggi Rao, M.D., in the company’s press release. He is a dermatologist and clinical professor of medicine at the University of Alberta. MedReleaf’s topical cream uses cosmetic grade ingredients and is approved by Health Canada for sale. The topical cream was formulated to provide superior absorption of MedRelief’s Cannabidol strain. The cream mixes and integrates with the cannabis oil to create an easy-to-use topical agent for direct application to affected areas, the company says, and comes with easy-to-follow mixing instructions.
