    Annual employee performance reviews rank near the top of least favorite tasks for most physicians. Virtually everyone feels averse to giving and receiving feedback; however, when performed well, these can be excellent communication tools for keeping employees motivated and maintaining a well-run office. The problem is that very few people have been taught how to do performance reviews effectively. One expert recommends six vital questions to ask your employees to set them at ease and set a positive tone for a productive discussion.
